Draw My Literature: Please submit literature that you would like visual artists to create artwork from. Submissions are automatically approved, and you are allowed one submission per week.
Write About My Visual Art: Please submit visual art that you would like writers to write about. Submissions are automatically approved, and you are allowed one submission per week.
Exceptionally Inspiring Literature: This folder is for truly inspiring literature, full of vivid imagery just begging to be illustrated. The idea is for visual artists to be able to browse this folder and find instant inspiration. Obviously entrance to this folder will be a bit strict, and submissions will be judged. However, if your piece is declined, we will simply move it to the "Draw My Literature" folder. You are allowed one submission per week.
Exceptionally Inspiring Visual Art: This folder is for jaw-dropping visual art that clearly holds a story just waiting to be told. Visual art that writers cannot view without tales instantly spinning in their heads. As such, entrance to this folder will be a bit strict, and submissions will be judged. However, if your piece is declined, we will simply move it to the "Write About My Visual Art" folder. You are allowed one submission per week.
Featured: Our Featured folder showcases literature inspired by visual art and visual art inspired by literature. You can submit your deviation here even if the deviation that inspired it is not in our gallery. However, we ask that you please also submit the deviation that inspired it, so that we can display them side-by-side. If your deviation is inspired by a piece in our gallery, we will move that piece into the featured folder as well, so that both pieces can be displayed together. Please put the thumb code (or a link, if you can't use thumbs) to the original deviation in your artist comments, so that we can easily see that it is inspired from another deviation.
Note: You may think that only allowing one submission per folder per week (aside from Featured) is too strict, but it actually improves your chances of having your work be used as inspiration. Also, if you'd like to submit the work of another deviant, please do so! Is there a poem by another deviant that you'd just love to see illustrated? A painting by a friend that desperately needs a story? Please submit! I submit other people's work to groups all the time and I highly encourage the practice.
This sounds like an awesome group! Added to my devwatch, in the hopes that I will have time to do something sometime....
Thank you so much! We hope you do!
Cool. I really like the idea behind this group.
